By entering the annual Alpha Rho Chi National Convention Logo Competition, you have the chance to win complementary registration to the 2009 Convention in St. Louis, Missouri. The winning design will be used on correspondence and promotional materials for the 62th National Convention.

How to Enter

Any active or alumni member, colonist, or pledge of Alpha Rho Chi may enter a logo design. Only one entry per person will be accepted.

All entries must be e-mailed to wgaa@alpharhochi.org by 11:59 pm PST, January 8, 2008.

The subject line should read, "62th Convention Logo." Please include the following information in the body of the e-mail:

The winners will be selected at the sole discretion of the Convention Committee. The committee may request that changes be made to the selected design.

The Grand Prize

Your Convention registration fee is waived! That's a value of approximately $150.00 - $175.00! Attendee is responsible for his or her own lodging and travel to the Convention.

Logo Requirements

  1. Vector Format. Logo must be in vector format. This should be created in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Macromedia Freehand, or Macromedia/Adobe Flash. While you can use Autocad to create a vector image, this is not a suggested application.
  2. Design Scalability. Design must be equally legible when shrunk down to the size of a dime or as large as a billboard.
  3. No Content Requirements. THERE ARE NO REQUIREMENTS FOR CONTENT. However, the logo SHOULD NOT include the dates of the convention. City is optional. Convention number is optional. REMEMBER ANY TEXT NEEDS TO BE READABLE WHEN SHRUNK TO THE SIZE OF A DIME.
  4. Send Artwork and Preview Together. Please submit two files: a jpg (screen) and one of the following: vector eps, .ai, .indd, .fhx, .fh10 or .fla.
