Letters of inquiry regarding grants from the Creative Capital Foundation to support projects by individual artists.
Grants range from $5,000 to $20,000 and support work in film and video or the visual arts.
Grantees will also receive additional support in the form of services such as marketing consultations and career planning.
Applications are available by mail or at the foundation's Web site
applicants are encourage to apply online.

March 28: Community development (national)
Applications for the Frederick P. Rose Architectural Fellowship
sponsored by the Enterprise Foundation,
which creates partnership between new architects and community-based groups.
Architects receive stipends totaling $120,000 over three years to work with a
local community-based organization, or tribally designated housing entity.
Applicants who are interested in developing a partnership but have not found
a partner organization should contact
Stephen A. Goldsmith, director of the fellowship program, for a list of potential partners.
Who may apply: architects working with a community-development corporation,
a community-based group classified as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code,
or a tribally designated housing entity.
The partner organization must be a member of the Enterprise Foundation Network.

Nominations for 2005 Tech Museum Awards from the Tech Museum of Innovation.
The awards recognize the use of technology to "improve the human condition"
in the areas of economic development, education, the environment, equality and health.
The museum will select one winner in each category and each winner will receive a cash prize
at the program's awards gala in the fall.
Nomination forms are available at the museum's web site.
Who is eligible: companies, individuals, and nonprofit and public organizations.
Nominations may be made by anyone familiar with the work involved,
and self-nominations are accepted.
